What You Need to Know Before Choosing

Which pangasius fillet formats can be supplied?

Skinless, boneless, different trim levels, and portion formats are supplied against the selected specification.

How should size and processing be specified?

Confirm fillet weight, tolerance, glazing, added water or treatment, net weight, IQF method, and trim level.

Why state the intended use?

Catering, restaurant portions, and further processing depend on weight consistency and cooking yield.

Which cold-chain details are required?

Confirm production, loading, and transport temperatures, shelf life, thawing instructions, and temperature records for the product.

Which documents should be requested?

Confirm the specification, analysis or health documents, origin, facility details, packing list, and shipment papers for the destination.

What determines the price of pangasius fillets?

Pricing follows the fillet weight range, the trim level, the glaze percentage and net weight basis, any added water or treatment that is declared, the production season, the order volume and the incoterm, FOB, CIF or DAP. Two offers with different glaze percentages are not comparable until both are restated on net weight. Use the Request Quote button for a current figure.

How do I order basa fish fillets wholesale?

Orders are placed by the container. Confirm the fillet weight range and tolerance, the trim level, the glaze percentage, the net weight, the carton format and the destination port in writing. We then build the specification and production plan with the EU approved plant. Send the requirement through the Request Quote button on this page.

Why does the glaze percentage matter so much?

Glaze is protective ice and it is part of the gross weight, not the fish. A fillet quoted at a low price with heavy glaze can cost more per kilo of actual product than a higher quoted offer with light glaze. Always restate offers on net weight, and put the glaze percentage, tolerance and net weight basis into the purchase order.

Which operations does pangasius suit?

The neutral flavour, boneless structure and consistent portion weight suit catering, hospital and school kitchens, hotel buffets, cafeteria menus and further processing lines. Cooking yield and cost per portion stay predictable across batches, which is what high volume menus need. Tell us the intended use and we will match the weight range and trim level to it.
