The cut sets the band first, since centre loin, saku, steak and poke cube are not priced alike. After that the quotation reflects the trim level, the grade (AAA or AA), the piece weight, the freezing method and temperature, the IVP packing, the season, the order volume and the incoterm, FOB or CIF. Send the cut and weight you need through the Request Quote button.
How do I order frozen tuna loins or saku wholesale?
Orders run by the container. Confirm the cut, the piece weight or grade, the packing and the destination port in writing, and we build the production and shipping plan with the plant. Processing is EU approved and FDA registered, and each piece is individually vacuum packed. Use the Request Quote button and we will complete the specification with you.
What is the difference between loin, saku, steak and poke cube?
A centre loin is the whole muscle piece that your kitchen portions itself. Saku is a rectangular block prepared for sashimi slicing, which lowers trim loss. Steaks arrive ready for the grill or pan. Poke cubes are cut at 1.5 cm and go straight into the bowl. The choice comes down to kitchen labour and how consistent the portion must be.
Which details should be confirmed for raw service?
For raw applications, confirm the freezing temperature and holding time, the storage temperature, the thawing instruction, whether any colour treatment has been applied, and the integrity of the vacuum pack. Cold chain records, batch numbers and analysis documents can also be requested. All of this is verified with the plant per product and per production batch before shipment.
